About me

woman

Welcome to my author blog about wine! For more than five years I have been studying the world of winemaking, searching for unique wines and traveling through famous oenological regions. In all this time I have managed to gather an exclusive collection of wines from Spain, Italy, Argentina and to structure my knowledge about winemaking in expert articles for professional publications.

In my blog I share with wine lovers not only tasting notes and the best routes to travel. I want to talk about the exceptional examples I’ve been able to find. About the wineries that create a unique product and about all the intricacies of wine production, consumption and collecting. Here you will find only selected brands and objective assessments.

Researching new terroirs and grape varieties, tastings, competitions and an irresistible desire to learn more about wine allows me to constantly discover new facets of this luxurious beverage.

I remember a time when I was an average consumer who preferred semi-sweet drinks, considered dry wines “sour”, believed in the myth of “powdery” wine, and if wine stains your teeth and tongue, then it is definitely artificial. I sincerely appreciate this period. It was the gaps in my knowledge, my determination, and my great desire to create a new version of myself that helped me achieve everything I had planned.

But even now, while speaking to professionals in my field, founders of wine brands, oenologists and sommeliers, I don’t want to become a wine snob, talk to my readers in the language of special terms and talk about wines.

Here I write about my own experiences with wine and travel, explain in detail what winemaking is and what grapes are best suited for it, and share my gastronomic discoveries. If you want to read about terroirs, aging, oak barrels, Malbecs and decanting in an understandable language, my blog is for you!
